OUR STORY
Coco Studio, which was actually short for The Coordinated Collection Studio, started as a little day dream of mine back in 2014. I had hoped that one day I could run my own successful business from home by combining my creativity and attention to detail, my passion for coordination and organisation and my simplistic style to create unique items for others.
A few years ago, after my amazing husband got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever, I started preparing how I was then going to pop the question to the incredible ladies in my life - my Bridesmaids. This was something I had always dreamed of - gifting is one of my 'things' that I always go over the top with because I truly get so much joy out of giving. I had had an etsy wish-list of bridesmaid proposal gifts for at least a year before I'd even been proposed to and I couldn't wait to start preparing the ultimate Bridesmaid proposal boxes for my girls.
When I started looking into it all, sourcing personalised items locally was a real struggle and I couldnt find exactly what I was looking for. So I had to give in an pay extreme international shipping costs to make my dream gift boxes come to life. Because of this, I then started researching how personalised items were made and whether it was something I could do on my own and eventually provide New Zealanders with something similar. From there Coco Studio finally started coming together, I collected all the tools to get myself started and began creating personalised gifts for family and friends. A few months later we moved into our new home and my mission became to label everything! Guests would always comment on how organised parts of my home were and how they wished they could achieve it in their own homes so I finally felt that maybe I was on to something.
I have always loved creating gifts for friends and family that were customized just for them, so at Coco Studio I want to offer you the opportunity to do that too through creating personalized products made to your specifics right here in New Zealand.
I have developed a baseline of items that can be made unique to any one person (or home) through personalisation. I am also always open to new ideas so if you had something unique in mind, please don't hesitate to get in contact as I would love to try and assist you in bringing your ideas to life.
